This is Unfolded are a sustainable, earth-conscious fashion brand who make high-quality, affordable items from responsible materials with a focus on ethical fashion. They aim to educate people about the high waste produced by the fashion industry, bringing awareness to consumers about where their clothes come from, how they’re produced and the impact this is having on our planet.

This is Unfolded are creating long term change by making clothing without waste, providing better pay and working conditions for garment workers and providing education for children in the communities where the clothes are made.

When we initially spoke with This is Unfolded, it was to provide strategy and consultancy services to help them grow their brand online visibility through organic SEO. This Is Unfolded have an in-house marketing and PR team, but were looking for guidance with their wider strategy in terms of increasing traffic, brand awareness and defining the best channels to achieve this.

The Work

Following a thorough technical SEO audit of the site, we conducted extensive keyword research and made a series of recommendations about overhauling their meta data, identifying content that needed reworking and flagging opportunities across their website and social media, to help drive organic traffic to their site. We collaborate closely with their marketing, PR and web teams, working together to share our insights and knowledge enabling them to action our recommendations as part of the wider strategy. We have helped shape some of their digital marketing PR campaigns that resonate with their audience.

What This is Unfolded Think

The Results

Already in a short period of time, we have helped drive visibility across a range of keywords that are more relevant and have a greater user intent, including driving impression share of the keyword “sustainable” and variations of this. This term grew by 381 times in comparison to where the impression share was before we took on the account. They have launched their first digital PR campaign and we have plans moving forward to further increase their visibility across digital PR and organic search.
